SALON POLICY

Refund

If you are not entirely satisfied with your service, please call and schedule a redo appointment. You must arrange an appointment to have your nails fixed within five days for gel polish/dipping services and three days for all other services after your initial service date.  We do not accept redo appointments after five/three days of your initial services.

We will re-do any service if you are unsatisfied with the quality provided, given that you tell us immediately after the services have been performed. 

As soon as you walk out the salon door, that means you have accepted and are happy with the services provided to you.

We will charge you for the cost of any repairs or replacements that we have to endure because of damages that happened outside of our salon. For example, if your nails or the finish of your nails are damaged (they are broken, chipped or starting to lift ) we will charge you due to your own lack of care.

The redo policy does not cover a change in service or color.

We do not offer refunds for any services or products.
 

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest for improper conduct, tardiness, no shows, or any other situation we deem inappropriate.

Salon Environment

We understand that sometimes you must take calls while in the salon. We ask that you please set cell phones to low volume. Communication via FaceTime (or the like), or speaker phone is not permitted to preserve guest experience and privacy.

Children

We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend on yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your appointments. However, our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.

In the event your child becomes unruly, cries excessively or disrupts the other clients in the salon, we reserve the right to ask you and your child to leave.  This policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience.

Personal Items

We are not responsible or liable for any lost, damaged or stolen items.

Late Arrivals & Cancellations

We understand that sometimes extraordinary circumstances are unavoidable and you may need to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us 24 hour’s notice if you cancel your appointment.

Due to scheduling commitments to other clients’ schedules, we may need to reschedule any appointment for which you are more than 10 minutes late.

Products/ Gift Cards

There are no returns or exchanges of products purchased.

Gift cards are not returnable or refundable for cash.

We accept the following payment methods:  cash, personal checks, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

We treat our customers like family here at POLISH. Each guest receives a fresh nail file and buff, and our salon is always monitored for cleanliness. We offer various spa pedicures at affordable prices, and complimentary refreshments. Our premium pedicure chairs and top notch products from famous brands make the experience complete. We have a strict sanitization standard with our tools and sterilize each set before use.

Gel polish manicures is an alternative to regular nail polish manicures. Whereas nail polish requires 30 minutes of air drying time (and can still be smudged or dented in the hours after application), gel polish contains a special polymer that must be “cured” under an LED or UV light – allowing it to harden during the curing cycle and become instantly dry.

Gel Polish Benefits

  • Brilliant, glossy shine – much shinier than regular nail polish.
  • Chip-free results – gel won’t chip off like regular nail polish, which can start to chip within 2-3 days – even with activities like dishwashing or excessive typing.
  • Gel Polish can last up to 3 weeks – salon or professional 3-step gel manicures.

The removal process for gel is different than regular nail polish, as it requires a “soak-off” method vs. acetone “wipe off” removal.

Plan on 30 minutes for a manicure and 30-60 minutes for a pedicure. Drying time is extra but can be as slow or as quickly as you need. We advise letting your polish fully dry before you leave.

We recommend waiting about half an hour for your nails to dry and an hour for toes to dry enough to allow you to put shoes on. 

In summer months when flip flops can be worn, your drying time can be shortened.

If you are in the mood for natural beauty, well-polished manicure natural nails are the way to go. If you want extra length, a wow factor, a little spice, go for artificial nails. Either way, we will beautifully transform your nails to the shape you like that best fit you!

Dipping powder is an alternative to gel and acrylic. Oder free, light weight and durable, it looks and feels natural. Dipping powder is healthy for your nails and it even has vitamin E and calcium! We offer dipping powder in over 200 colors in SNS, OPI and well-known brand names.

The type and dose of light used is very low. Studies have shown that UV lamps used for manicures is not harmful and does not cause skin cancer. In fact, one study stated that a person could use the lamp safely for over 250 years.
